I’m very grateful to the people who gave me the opportunity to teach them. Seeing their awesome progress is the greatest reward I could ever ask for. I’m humbled by their very kind words and continue to learn from them.

Laszlo Nemeth

I was having sciatic nerve pain for some time before I met Laszlo. Before meeting him I was out of work for 3 months. When I met him at the gym he introduced me to some stretches and exercises that really helped me recover faster. Within a couple weeks I was already feeling better and was more flexible than before and felt less pain. And a month after doing these exercises I was able to finally go back to work.

For many years I have had various spine-related issues including  bulging disks in the lumbar area, a compression fracture of the thoracic vertebra, cervical vertebra issues, sciatica, and more recently had developed intermittent  excruciating hip pain that negatively impacted my daily walking routine.  In my early 60’s just doing basic housework left my body so sore that I would be out of commission the following day.

I met Laszlo about a year ago when I decided to try his painless flexibility class offered at a local gym, and I have been hooked ever since.   At the first class I watched this man in his mid 70’s bend his body in every seemingly impossible direction and thought, “well…what do I have to lose by trying this?”

While many of the exercises initially felt awkward, Laszlo and his assistant(s) patiently worked with each of us to ensure that we were doing them correctly, and soon the exercises became easier and felt completely natural to do. Laszlo is very encouraging and recommended specific exercises to address individual needs and limitations, e.g., he suggested that I focus on some particular exercises that would specifically help eliminate the lower back and hip pain.

I continued with his classes, did the recommended exercises both at home and in a weekly class (and continue to do both).  His exercises worked better than any physical therapy sessions I have ever had.   In addition to carrying on with full-time work, family and daily activities, I am back to walking without hip or back pain, doing some light hiking and bicycle riding again.  My overall flexibility and energy have increased tremendously, allowing me to move easily without pain, thereby enabling me to get more exercise, feel better and subsequently lose over 20 pounds.  In short, Laszlo’s painless flexibility routine has changed the quality of my life.

I can’t thank you enough Laszlo!!

For several months I was having sharp pain in my left hamstring. I tried yoga and other stretching but it only seemed to aggravate my pain. I met Laszlo at the gym I was attending. He was always stretching and I saw that many people would go see him and stretch with him. We got to talking and I explained the pain I was having. Laszlo showed me a few stretches and I gave it some time and effort and I haven’t felt the pain since! I can stretch, I can run, lift weights and do everything I used to do, pain free. I don’t know what I would’ve done had I not met him. His methods truly work and I am forever grateful!

My name is Marisol and I am 36 years old. I have for most of my life since I was 10 years old suffered from lower back pain. As I grew older and after 2 car accidents it became worse. I felt depressed and stressed about these changes in my body. I developed bulging discs, arthritis in the spine and degenerative disease. I ran out of options when it came to pain management. I would search for things that could help like working out, changing my diet and making sure I drink plenty of water, get massages regularly. All of that and it did not change. My doctor recommended pain management at Yale for injections and I went to one appt and never went back as I did not want to rely on drugs.

One day I was in the gym stretching and I looked across the floor to an older man stretching into a split! I was shocked as I have not ever seen this in real life lol. I thought to myself who is this person and he had a big smile on his face and made it look so easy. After that I signed up for a free tour at a North Haven gym and as I was looking around I came across a flyer and guess what?! It was the man I saw in the gym on the flyer doing a split. I immediately emailed him to learn about his flexibility class and I signed up as soon as it was open. I took 18 weeks of his class and it was the best decision as my lower back and core became stronger and I began to have less pain. I was elated as this was the solution all along! I was more flexible than I ever was before.

Laszlo is more than a teacher, he is very knowledgeable and allows his students to make the connection to mind, body and soul. I learned a lot and I will continue classes again soon. Thank you so much for your dedication to your mission. I appreciate you.

I guess my story of how my back was once on the verge of needing a surgery at age 27 to only six months later running 30 plus miles a week starts at the gym.

Since I was a young boy I played hockey. After my high school days I continued my physical activities off the ice and in the gym. I was a fit guy at age 19, about 5’11’’ and 175 lbs. Over the next 7 years I changed my body drastically. My love for weight lifting grew and I began bodybuilding. By age 25 I was a lean 240lbs. The stress I was putting on my body was becoming very noticeable, joint pain everywhere. My lower back was starting to bother me. Of course as the smart 25 year old I mostly ignored my body’s cry for help. Long story short I threw my back out, couldn’t get off the floor. To the DR’s I went. Physical therapy was what they said would patch me up. It helped a little but after months of it I still wasn’t fully better. During all these months I had decided to go in another direction with my career and I wanted to join the Navy and become a Navy SEAL. I was basically told that I would need to lose a lot of weight. There’s no way a guy at 240 lbs can run as fast for long distances as a guy that’s 155-165 lbs. Only the fastest guys get SEAL contracts.

So I changed my diet and workout routine and over the next 2 years lost all that extra muscle and was about 180 lbs again. During that process my joints started feeling better but my back was just not right. I ended up throwing my back out again, along with other leg injuries. Back to the DR I went. More physical therapy I did. My back…. still not well. I had an MRI done. It showed my L4 and 5 compressed. I had a conversation with the Dr at age 27 about if this gets any worse I’d be needing surgery. He advised me to stop working out. Stop running. Give up on the SEAL dream.

I went to the gym the next day to swim and as I walked in I saw Laszlo. I didn’t know Laszlo very well at that point in time but had seen him many times before. I was always very impressed with the level of flexibility he achieved. I decided to share what was going on with my body with him and to my surprise he instantly said “sit down, I’ll show you how to fix yourself” he went over his stretching routine with me. After doing this routine only a handful of times over the next week my back started feeling a bit better. I continued with this routine for the next 6 months. 3 months into it I felt great. My back hadn’t felt this good in a long time. The amount of flexibility I was able to obtain was astonishing to me, and all without any pain. There was never any pain with this program. Stretching actually felt great! By the 6 month mark I was back to running 30 miles a week. Swimming 3 miles a week and 2-3 strength workouts a week. I ended up getting that SEAL contract I wanted. This program changed my life and body. My back no longer anywhere close to needing another DRs opinion.

I am writing to attest that painless flexibility program has drastically improved the quality of my life. I used to be a body builder for over a decade, lifting extreme amounts of heavy weights. As a result I developed extreme back pain with L4 forward protrusion related to lumbar lordosis, which had forced me to stop exercising all together. I spent almost two years with increasingly worse and worse pain in my lower back which also caused sciatic pain to shoot down my right leg. I couldn’t even hold my 7 pound new born baby without sitting down as just holding any type of extra weight while standing was so unbearable. I had tried 18 weeks of physical therapy with almost no lasting relief and took a large blow to my wallet with medical costs.

This pain had effected every area of my life from struggling to get thru the work day as a nurse, to the point of tears at the mere fact that I would have nowhere to sit down at social gatherings. I would wake up several times a night in agony. Being 28 years old when this all started 2 years ago, which at such a young age started to effect me psychologically. I became very depressed and my relationships began to also suffer as all I can think about 24/7 was my pain. I cried on a daily basis thinking that I would end up in a wheelchair and unable to take care of my family before my 40th birthday. I was desperate and would try anything even for a momentary relief from pain.

A friend of mine had recommended reaching out to Laszlo regarding a program that he very confidently said “this will cure your pain.” He expressed how it wasn’t even a question of “if” this would help. It seemed too good to be true, but at this point I had no other hope of resolving this pain. Once starting this program I started seeing improvements by week 2 of these simple exercises. By week 4 the intensity of my back pain had decreased by more than half. By this time I realized there was really something to this far beyond conventional rehabilitation techniques. I would say by around week 8 my back pain was about 10% of what it was when I first started. At the current time of writing this I have been doing these exercising for over 3-4 months and the majority of the time I don’t even notice that I have pain. The only time I start to feel some increased discomfort is if I take too much time off of doing my exercising. I had even had some shoulder issues that caused much pain for over 8 years which also seemed to just completely disappear.

My flexibility has dramatically improved and I feel like I have gotten my life back again. As a nurse who has seen so much of our population in back pain with minimal to no relief from conventional medicine, I feel as if this program would be of great value to humanity. This program is perfect for anyone who is dedicated and willing to put in some time each day to improving their health, quality of life, and mental happiness. I believe this would also be of great benefit for everyone regardless of pain or not. I cannot thank Laszlo enough for the value his teachings have given me in my life.

Forever Grateful,
John V.

Mr. Laszlo Nemeth is a very insightful and knowledgeable trainer, helping me “live my life” with more strength, energy and flexibility.

‘’I recommend that you add at least one twisting exercise, like the pretzel, to your routine. It’s really important that you keep the hard-won flexibility in your lower back area. Especially if you go for long hikes, particularly when carrying a back-pack, you need to release the tension that builds up in that region around the hip”, Laszlo speaks passionately inspiring me for my most coveted Everest base camp trek in my 60’s…

First time I met Laszlo in a gym that I had joined during my US visit for 2-3 months. He was doing incredible floor exercises for hours just like a young gymnast. I could not get my eyes off him. Undoubtedly, I was fascinated by his amazing flexibility and could not resist talking to him about it. After my few chats with him I realized that Laszlo was a master of making exercise a pleasure with his sound knowledge of human anatomy, muscle controls and science of flexibility.

I was a yoga practitioner but was suffering from a leg and back pain after my spinal surgery about one and half years before and Laszlo was surely a ray of hope! He readily agreed to coach me. During my everyday two hours session, he explained me do’s and don’ts, trained me to feel muscles, and stretched areas, different and sometimes difficult types of techniques, such as using reciprocal inhibition, and appropriate use of each of these.

With every passing day, I was feeling better, more flexible and most importantly, energetic for the rest of the day!

Laszlo is not just a performer but he is a seasoned coach with utmost patience and perseverance…never forgetting to appreciate his students for even the smallest achievement! Laszlo’s elegant complete horizontal and vertical splits make it hard to believe that he suffered with leg pain and could hardly walk 3 years back.

It’s my sincere wish that many people should benefit from Laszlo’s knowledge and practical sessions. Now I am back to India but strongly hope to connect with him whenever possible. It would be great to have his online videos or book or webinars that can help many to improve their health, reduce pain & lead to a happy life.

‘’Now I can easily get into the lotus pose…also learned some of the Yoga poses from the book you gave me,’’ Laszlo writes to me in one of his e-mails. With his great dedication and love for fitness, Laszlo is just unstoppable!

I soulfully wish him a great health and remarkable success in his profession!

Have you ever struggled to push yourself to the GYM on a cold winter morning? For someone who is in his 70 year range this could come after a night of tossing and turning with little sleep!

I have been involved all my life in sports and in pursuit of a healthy style of life. So why such a slump? What is not working? Once you put the workout in, there is some improvement. But what a drag to get the wheels rolling.

To resume one typical day as described above, I saw at the gym an individual in a martial arts uniform and a master’s belt. Being myself a red & white (6th Dan black belt in judo) I mustered valor to stop his training and introduced myself. He said his name was Laszlo. He looked to be in my age range, but with the elasticity and agility of a 15 years old teenager.

Once the introducing stage was over, found in Laszlo to be a colleague in martial arts, a person with wisdom (but with desire to hear) and desire to give of his time for the benefit of others. In short, a very NICE human being.

I related to him my long struggle with lower back problems affecting my comfort zone. He invited me to join him along his stretching exercises. All good until we got to the lower back routine. He said: “Joe, you are in pain! I know what is going on and have dealt with it.”

He instructed me to do several very particular stretches which produced a comforting warm feeling to the muscles. I knew right then and there that IT WAS WORKING. For the past struggles with physical therapy, medication and medical bills I had seen little to show for.

With Laszlo’s routine the pain frequency has diminished. The antagonistic muscles are finally relaxing and stretching. When the discomfort re-appears, I do the stretching and the pain is gone.

Laszlo explained the dynamics of the relief of the pain. I use it even in bed when struggling with a sleepless night. His intervention is not a miracle, but works as good as one. His system empowers you to ACT EFFECTIVELY with the muscular issues at hand.

There are EURICA moments in life. To me this is one of them.

Many others and I that have worked out with Laszlo encouraged him to write his book. To the skeptics at the gym, questions are answered when you can see and testify of Laszlo’s flexibility. It is nothing but amazing. And he will tell you that you can do it, once empowered with what to do.

Thank you Laszlo from me and others that have benefited from your help.

I have exercised all my life and began this class with my husband John so that we could do something together and help him with his issues. I teach yoga and he would not come with me. I thought, okay, Painless Flexibility is a good option for him. Great results for him.. Now for me I thought I was flexible but there is always room for improvement and that I did. My back had issues, I am 62 years old. I now have no back pain there are exercises to help hips and sciatica which helped me tremendously.

I am helping Laszlo and Will teach the beginners now. I believe this system works, I highly recommend it. Just try it and be faithful in doing it, you will see the benefits. No pills no PT no chiropractors. PS I went to a chiropractor, never returned since I do the 42 exercises. Invest in your health inside and out. We are getting into the body/ brain. I love my advanced class. If I need more I ask him for more. We are all at different levels, honor your body and be true to what you put into it. You will see results some slower than others, but you will get there. Patience and positive thoughts.
Namaste
I still teach yoga.
Thank you Will and Laszlo for all your help.
I am now ready for even more please.
I will come early on Fridays 6 before our class
Thank you.

I am not entirely sure where to start with my story, we often go through life accepting things as they are and living with the consequences; this was the case for me with my back problems. I’ve lived a better part of my life with mild chronic back problems, with the past year moving from mild to extreme. It got to the point where I had to slowly edge into a car, stopped doing things I enjoyed, and making noise with every simple movement.

For 20 years, I’ve consistently frequent the gym, and at times, meeting new friends while working out. With my back developing for the worst, I notice an elderly gentleman stretching, doing kicks and punches. I approach him, introduce myself and started talking to him, asking him for advise on back stretches; looking at him stretch, it really looks like he knows what he is doing. This conversation was the start of a new life for me, Laszlo is a “game changer.”

Laszlo started showing me simple stretches I could do myself while at home or work, these few simple but effective stretches made it so I was not in constant pain. After a couple of months had pass, I started to attend his painless flexibility classes, the results are astronomical and immediate. With every passing week, my back got better and better, with a side effect of being exceptionally flexible. Toward the end of the second class, my back was 80% better, my daily movements was nothing more than simple movements again and I was able to play golf again.

Simply put, Laszlo and his method of Painless Flexibility is truly a game changer and without exaggeration, Laszlo is a life saver!

I first met Laszlo at the gym while he was going through his martial arts routine and was quite impressed by his flexibility and range of motion.  I myself had practiced a martial art for many years so I know what it took to reach that level of proficiency. We started a conversation and soon became friends.  We spent many sessions together at the gym going over his techniques and his philosophy of “painless flexibility.”  I read up on some of the same research that Laszlo had examined and I am convinced that his methodology is based upon sound physiological principles.  I consider myself a fit 69 year old male, but I know that I must incorporate Laszlo’s “painless flexibility”  technique into my fitness routine as it will slow down the aging process and  minimize the risks for accidents, aches and pains as I enter my “Golden Years!”

Laszlo and I have been friends for almost four years now as we are members of the same gym. In that time, I have seen him make tremendous strides in his own flexibility through a disciplined cycle of research and experimentation. Through many iterations of that cycle, he has developed a multitude of breakthroughs in stretching techniques, many of which I have come to include in my own routines.

Not a week goes by that I don’t stop to compare notes with Laszlo on where we are in our respective journeys. As many people do, we both started stretching due to similar reasons: injuries. When I first met Laszlo, he told me he had an old hamstring injury that kept coming back in spite of therapy. He was attempting to recover on his own so that he could continue practicing karate at the intensity he had been used to for so many years. On the other hand, I had just started body building and learning basic barbell lifts. It was only a matter of months before I would be joining Laszlo on the stretching mats before my workouts. Through inconsistencies in my lifting form I had developed joint pain in my knee, hip, and shoulder.

Laszlo and I are both engineers by profession, so it is no wonder we attack problems in similar ways: research and experimentation. During our conversations before my workouts, we would talk about a range of topics that we had been studying to help us through our pain. Topics such as reciprocal inhibition, myo-fascial release, how long stretches should be held for and how much load should be applied. Laszlo also shared a variety of stretches with me that he had been experimenting with and would take me through beginner, intermediate and advanced versions of those stretches.

Since then we have both recovered from our injuries and are continually improving on our flexibility. We are able to train at an intensity that challenges us without the risk of injury. Laszlo continues to help others reach that same potential through the dedication he has put into making the attainment of proper range of motion and flexibility a painless and straightforward experience.
